About the suite
The Attic Suites were the last part of the old guest house to be finished, and they are the rooms our regulars ask for by name. The roof timbers are the original ones, sanded back and left bare. Two skylights sit over the bed, so on a clear night you fall asleep under the stars, and in the morning blackout blinds keep the light out until you want it.
The round brick window looks over the gardens to the pool. Below it is a sitting corner with a reading lamp, two armchairs and a tray for morning coffee. The bathroom has a walk-in rain shower, a deep bath and towels warmed on a heated rail. A sofa bed takes a third guest, made up with proper linen, not a folded blanket.

- From 2 pm. Arriving early? Leave your bags at the desk and use the pool.
- Check-out
- By 11 am, or later free of charge when the suite is not booked that night.
- Cancellation
- Free up to 48 hours before arrival. After that, the first night is charged.
- Stairs
- The suites are on the second floor and there is no lift to that floor. Ask for a garden room if stairs are hard.
- Children
- Welcome. A cot can go in for free; the sofa bed suits a child over five.
